I am Sangeeta. A thinker, a traveller, and honestly, still a student in most of the ways that matter- interested in people, places, and why things unfold the way they do.

I grew up in a small city in India and have since lived in several others, moved countries, switched jobs, and changed direction more than once. Some of those decisions made sense immediately. Others I only understood years later, looking back.

I have always been curious about the world around me – noticing, connecting, and reflecting on experiences long after they have passed. Upward Canvas is where I give some of those thoughts and stories a place to land: decisions, work, people, places, the small stuff that doesn’t seem important until it is, and things I am still working out.

Not every post has a takeaway. Some of it is simply a story I wanted to tell. But if something here makes you pause, see something a little differently, or recognise something from your own experience, I am glad it found its way to you.

You will come across it here and there on the site. It’s a quiet signature of mine – rooted in Sanskrit, tied to one of the first things I ever led, and part of a story I have carried for more than twenty years now.
